ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW WHEN SEARCHING FOR YOUR WEDDING VENUE

Wedding planning is tedious. And guess what’s the most confusing part?

Well! It’s deciding on a perfect wedding venue. It’s not as easy as dreaming of getting married at a magnificent location your entire life, getting it booked once the wedding dates are out and living your dream to its fullest!

There are a number of factors that need to be considered while looking for a wedding venue. Read on to know what they are.

Wedding style:

You may plan to have a theme wedding or it may rather be a formal event. It may be held during the day or night. Whatever your preference be, the venue should be able to reflect the wedding style. You can start looking for venues in such geographical locations that’ll help reflect the most important elements of your dream wedding in the most efficacious manner.

Weather conditions:

Weather is unpredictable no matter what time of the year it is. The summers can be too harsh for your guests, monsoons may just ruin the entire preparations and winters may not even let the guests enjoy. An outdoor party during a less reliable weather calls for a contingency plan. So, make sure that you are prepared with a backup plan.

Guest list:

Having a guest list and an idea of how many people will RSVP will help narrow down your search. As a matter of fact, there are a number of venues that have a maximum capacity rule and charge a per-person fee. So, proceed with your search only once you have triple checked that your venue and budget can accommodate all your guests.

Budget:

Once you have an idea of how many people will be attending the ceremony, you can start searching for venues keeping a particular budget in mind. The best way is to decide on a strict budget depending on what you feel you are willing to spend per head on the meal. As a matter of fact, things like catering and alcohol make the most part of the wedding venue pricing. So, once you get an idea of how much those will cost, move on to choosing your wedding venue.

Availability:

Well, all your research would be rendered futile if you keep ticking things off the checklist without considering the availability of the venue. See if the venue that you wish to book for your D-day is available in the first place. If not, you may have to move on to other options that are available.

Guests’ convenience:

Though your D-day would be the most special day for you that doesn’t mean others can compromise. You need to take care of your guests and make everything as convenient as possible for them. In case you plan to have a destination wedding, look for a venue that’s near a hotel. Check for the traffic, transportation, and parking facilities as well. Make sure none of your guests have to face any difficulty traveling or locating the place.

Rules and regulations:

This is an inevitable aspect of wedding venue planning. As a matter of fact, there are certain places that have strict rules and regulations regarding smoking, alcohol, sound and more. So, if you do not want your D-day to be turned into a blunder, make sure that you abide by all the rules.

Keep all these factors in mind and you’ll surely end up finding the perfect venue for your wedding!
